Selling Art
Artists are often referred to as "starving" because creating art fills their souls, but
selling it is something else altogether. It's tough for someone brought up to be modest
in all things to change 180°. You will find that we are shy about ourselves, but we are
working to show off our art and ourselves in order to sell our art.
We have recently discovered some unique sites that display original art for self
representing artists. The first is ArtRemains.com. Art Remains is a 'country' that
provides gallery spaces for activists to demonstrate need, for artists to exhibit their
artwork and for scholars to share their ideas.
The next is ArtWanted.com where they not only exhibit the work of artists from around
the world, they also allow the artists to sell prints of their work. We think you will enjoy
the site.
